Delivery

Standard Delivery
When placing your order online you will have the option to select your delivery charge
based on your post code as detailed later in this section. This covers delivery of all
fencing products to your home or preferred location within a 30 mile radius of our
Stockport office using our own fleet of delivery vehicles, offloading all products to a
safe position within your property boundary near to the kerbside. 

Customer Collection
For people that have the means to collect their own products after order there is a
selection to allow this. Complete your order as normal and when you get to the delivery
charges page simply check the box that says customer collection. You will be e-mailed
and advised when the products will be available for collection.

Courier & Pallet Deliveries
For smaller products that are to be delivered individually we will happily arrange a
courier delivery to anywhere in the country at your request. Likewise if you would like
delivery of posts, panels etc to anywhere outside our standard delivery zones we can
send these using a specialist pallet delivery network. Please contact usby e-mail

requirements in either of these instances.

Delivery Charges are generally calculated based on the distance we have to travel to
deliver the products according to Postcodes. (Exceptions will apply due to routes we
are unable to travel on).

When/ How We Deliver
Deliveries are made six days a week (Monday through to Saturday) during normal
business hours, generally using a 7 ½ tonne flat back vehicle (measuring approx.
2.4m wide). Please advise us if there are any access restrictions making delivery on
this type of vehicle difficult and alternative arrangements will be made. This can be
done when confirming delivery details in the text input box, e-mailing
orders@stockportfencing.co.uk or ringing on 0161 477 0010 once the order has
been placed.

Do I Need to be at Home to Take Delivery?
It is preferable that somebody is available to take delivery of the
items although if this is not possible we can deliver without anyone being present.
This is entirely at your own risk and once delivered Stockport Fencing Ltd accepts no
liability for loss or damage to the products supplied. If this is your preferred option
please state in the text input area when completing your order. Please note that due
to insurance cover our delivery drivers are not permitted to carry products to the rear
of your premises.

Can I Specify my Own Delivery Day and Time?  
When ordering you will be given the opportunity to specify preferred days for delivery
and whether an AM or PM delivery would be preferable. Delivery of standard stock
items can usually be made within a few days of order where as made to order and
non stock items will take a minimum of 7 days.

On receipt of your order we will e-mail you to advise the delivery day and whether an
AM or PM timeslot has been allocated. We will endeavor to fulfill all deliveries within
7 days of order for standard products and within 14 days for most made to order
products. If for any reason we are unable to fulfill the order within the proposed
timescale you will be notified by telephone or e-mail and given the opportunity to
amend your order or offered a full refund (special order products exempt from refund).
